Um. Wow.

Yesterday at 3:18 p.m. PDT I was sitting in the bleachers watching my son play Little League. It was about the third inning when I received the email that my 400 Portraits in 400 Days project had been successfully funded - with 82 backers and at $11,583. A-maz-ing. The 83 backers equate to about 110 portraits, since many people ordered multiples. That is a healthy start to my goal of painting 400 portaits in 400 days starting January 1. I've since had several people contact me saying they'd just missed the funding deadline but fear not! You can still order portraits from me on a regular commission basis. Business as usual. I'd like to thank everyone to backed this project, tweeted about it or liked it on Facebook. Nearly 3/4 of the project backers are new clients. Welcome!
