Creative People
This little art job of mine introduces me to wonderfully interesting experiences and creative people. One of those creatives is Kelly Williams Brown, who I first met when she was a journalist for The Statesman Journal. She wrote a full page Sunday profile about me in 2011, and we’ve kept in contact the way people do these days – on Facebook and Twitter.
Kelly has a wildly successful blog, a new book coming out in May, and a possible sitcom deal with Fox. She manages to do all this while being stylish, adorable and (from my 39-year old perspective) startlingly young.
This month, I’ve painted two portraits for her – the first one of her grandmother’s cat Pooker; the second, her mother’s cat Queenie.
Read her stuff.
