I really love how the internet works. In one instance, an enthusiastic Kickstarter backer used my painting as her Twitter avatar. She graciously retweeted all the compliments she was getting to my Twitter handle and BAM! new followers for me and I am suddenly, delightfully introduced to new worlds of creative people.

In a second instance, I discovered another client of mine is an author. I downloaded her book, The Silence of Trees and I cannot put it down. I actually considered playing hookey from work today to finish it. Social media can be such a delightful rabbit hole.
