Change of Scenery

Back in the good old days – say, April – my studio cat Ron Weasley kept me busy on a daily basis with his paint-water-drinking-watercolor-footprint-making shenanigans. He was content to loll around my studio, snuggling up under himself and leaving a wake of ginger-colored hair across every horizontal surface.

Lately though, Ron has changed it up a bit. I’m pretty sure it’s due to the change in seasons (even though, in Oregon, it won’t really be summer until about August.)

He's shed his mane.

He sleeps outdoors.

I mean, when's he's not sleeping here.

This bench is his new favorite spot.

I think maybe he's growing up.
