Facing Future
I'm really excited about how my art business is growing in different directions (and at an alarming rate!) I've talked before about how I was once scared to death to paint faces (of the non-animal variety) and now my portraits (of the human variety) are increasingly popular with my clients. Who knew? I'm glad I decided to offer the mini portraits as an alternative to the larger sizes. I've had quite a few clients who've commissioned individual portraits of all the members of their family, with the intention of framing them together. I can't wait to see how they look, framed and grouped together above someone's couch or in an entryway somewhere. (If you are one of those clients, send me a photo and I'll post it here!) And now, back to the brushes!Completed: March 30, 2010

You are inspiring to me! Keep up the great work!
The second portrait is surreal, dreamlike. I love the way you paint. Way to work it.
